The handbrake mounting plate for the BMW E36 was designed from scratch by RS-Ultimate to fit perfectly into the factory center tunnel and enable the handbrake to be mounted on the left and right sides of the gear lever in any and completely comfortable position for the driver. The base allows you to mount the brake in many different positions. Even the most demanding drivers will find the right setting for themselves. The plate was designed to maintain a "clean look", so that anyone could make holes for mounting the brake anywhere without unnecessary drilling. The plate has holes for screwing the base to the tunnel, thanks to which the entire structure is extremely stiff after assembly. After installing the RS Ultimate plate, there will never be a problem with the tunnel or handbrake handles breaking out again. The base can also be used as a reinforcement to repair a damaged tunnel. The plate can be used to mount standard handbrakes as well as models with an inverted lever, so the base can be adapted to your needs. Installation is extremely simple. The whole thing is screwed directly to the car tunnel WITHOUT welding. 4 [mm thick] S355 steel, powder coated in matt black, assembly using screws.
