The production of our racing valves starts with a one-piece forging, where the valve head is forged in a slow two-step process to maintain a good material flow. It is then CNC machined in several steps to ensure the final dimensions are accurate. Then we perform another heat treatment to stress relieving followed by a nitride hardening treatment (or coating process depending on the application) Finally, we do one more grinding followed by a patented surface finish to ensure that each valve is free of any imperfections and the dimensions are precise. In every valve design, we strive to maximize durability through higher fatigue resistance and tensile strength. Each valve tip is hardened to more than 52 HRC. You are unlikely to find our competitors' valves with more stringent dimensional tolerances than our Supertech valves. plates with equally stringent tolerances and you won't find a better seal, better performance, and an easier-to-install solution anywhere! When our Superfinish coating is paired with our black nitrogen, it reduces the surface roughness to 1/3 of our chrome valve.
