The AEM Ignition / Fuel Controller is a cost-effective solution for fuel and ignition control on vehicles that do not require self-management of the engine, including variable timing mechanisms such as VTEC, VVTi and MiVEC. The Fuel Ignition Controller is a programmable PC device that gives vehicle users with OBD-II and non-factory turbo systems, compressor ability to delay ignition and deliver the exact amount of fuel without the need for outdated FMUs or controllers. This system works in parallel with the factory control module, preventing tuning restrictions due to complicated factory patterns and not causing the CHECK to pop out. Precise Fuel Delivery The fuel ignition controller intercepts the signal to the injectors, allowing the user to modify the pulse width by +/- 100%. The F / IC is the only piggy-back system that can reduce injector pulse width, allowing the user to drive larger injectors while maintaining the correct air / fuel ratio. This powerful system can also use the factory injector signal and operate independently to drive up to six (6) additional injectors. for applications with variable timing adjustment. The fuel ignition control can delay the factory system operation based on engine RPM and load inputs. Sensor Calibration and Check The fuel ignition control can also be used to recalibrate the MAF sensor, eliminating common problems with factory untreated MAF points. Built-in MAP sensor allows proper fuel delivery in boosted applications CAN-BUS SYSTEMS HAVE NO EFFECT As the fuel ignition control works in conjunction with the factory ECU, late-production vehicles equipped with CAN-BUS maintain the functionality of controlling air conditioning, dashboard and other components in Features: Works with the latest OBD-II vehicles, including variable valve timing Variable phase timer based on engine RPM and load Six (6) injector inputs with simulated injector load used when replacing OEM injectors Six (6) fuel injector controllers for remapping ECU output (+/- 100% clipping) or as a standalone additional injector driver 21x17 maps with configurable load and RPM breakpoints Analog input / output for MAF F / IC remapping takes data from the computer's USB interface which allows quick and easy ka changes 64kb libration built-in data logger Processes high impedance or low impedance injectors using Peak & Hold Injector Driver Box Three time delay channels Supports MAG or HALL sensor types On board 41PSIA (about 25PSI boost) manifold pressure sensor The AEM Fuel Ignition Controller is an economical solution for controlling fuel and ignition on vehicles that do not require stand-alone engine management, including variable cam timing engines like VTEC, VVTi and MiVEC. Overview The Fuel Ignition Controller is a PC programmable unit that gives users with OBD-II vehicles and non-factory forced induction systems the ability to retard ignition and deliver accurate amounts of fuel without the need for outdated FMUs or '' boost hiding '' controllers . This system works parallel to the factory ECU preventing tuning limitations due to complex factory timing patterns and will not cause a check engine light (CEL). Precise Fuel DeliveryThe Fuel Ignition Controller intercepts the signal to the stock injectors, allowing the user to modify pulse- width by +/- 100%. The F / IC is the only piggy-back system that can decrease injector pulse-width, allowing the user to drive larger aftermarket injectors while still maintaining proper air / fuel ratios. This powerful system can also tap into the factory injector signal and work independently to drive up to six (6) additional injectors.Timing Retard Control The Fuel Ignition Controller has the ability to retard timing by intercepting and delaying the outputs from the cam and crank position sensors to the engine - with no adverse affect on applications equipped with variable cam timing. The Fuel Ignition Controller can retard timing from the factory system based on engine RPM and load inputs. Sensor Calibration and Control The Fuel Ignition Controller can also be used to recalibrate / clamp the MAF sensor, eliminating common problems with non-boosted factory MAFs. The on-board MAP sensor allows for proper fueling in boosted applications.CAN-BUS SYSTEMS NOT AFFECTEDSince the Fuel Ignition Controller works in conjunction with the factory ECU, late-model vehicles equipped with a CAN-BUS system retain functionality of climate controls, dash and other components on the network.Features: Works with latest OBD-II vehicles including variable valve controlVariable Valve timing controller based on Engine RPM and LoadSix (6) injector inputs with simulated injector load used when remapping OEM injectorsSix (6) fuel injector controllers for either remapping of ECU output (+/- 100% trim) or as a stand-alone extra injector driver21x17 maps with configurable load and RPM breakpoints Analog in / out for remapping / clamping MAFF / IC draws power from PC USB interface for quick and easy calibration changes64kb on-board data loggerDrives high impedence injectors or low impedence injectors with use of Peak & Hold Injector Driver BoxThree (3) channels of timing retardSu pports MAG or HALL sensor typesOn board 41PSIA (approx. 25PSI boost) manifold pressure sensor Universal AEM Electronics fuel pressure regulator.
