The AEM OBDII wideband interface provides tuners who use piggyback computers or open source software with AFR preview capability through the factory CAN-bus stream that is sent by the factory ECU to deliver the most accurate, safe and powerful tuning. The wideband OBDII 30-0334 X-Series interface is approved to work with EFILive, HPTuners and DashDaq software. The AFR OBDII X series wideband interface includes an OBDII adapter connector and a Bosch 4.9LSU sensor which can be outdoor calibrated or with a calibrated resistor. Additional wiring for serial 0-5v or RS232 output can be added by the user for output to the data logger. OBDII replaces the traditional AEMnet stream available on the AFR 30-0300 X-Series wideband controller. CAN-Bus OBDII OUTPUT The OBDII output simulates an auxiliary ECU signal when connected to the vehicle's OBD port, which requires a unique address from other ECUs in the vehicle. The default CAN address will work with the most common cars and adjustments shouldn't be necessary. However, AEM has provided OBDII address programming via buttons on the front of the meter if an address other than the default address is required, allowing users to program the ECU Number, Parameter Identifier (PID), Message ID and Bit Rate. fastest-responding AFR wideband controllers independently tested against 17 other wideband controllers. * X-Digital's fast patented technology (Patent 9,575,030) ensures no loss of signal fidelity and the fastest response, so it is able to identify the smallest AFR fluctuations and derive them fully values. Faster response time improves control and can ensure safer, more efficient and accurate work. AEM wideband controllers with X-Digital technology reduce time and can improve vehicle performance with finer AFR tuning. FACTORY CALIBRATION RESISTOR OR OUTDOOR CALIBRATION IS YOUR CHOICE! can use both a factory calibration resistor and an outdoor calibration method. This allows users to benefit from accurate factory resistor calibration when the sensor is new, but then allows outdoor calibration if the user wishes. ** It is the perfect combination of simplicity and accuracy WHY USE AN AFR REGULATOR Accurate AFR data is critical when tuning an engine. A rich mixture (very low air / fuel ratio, excessive fuel consumption) can cause a loss of power, while a too lean mixture (very high air / fuel ratio, too little fuel) can seriously damage the engine. Using a wideband air / fuel controller during the tuning process allows you to monitor the AFR and adjust the tuning parameters to optimize them for maximum power and performance. AEM's X-Series OBDII Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge (PN 30-0334) provides tuners who are using piggyback tuning modules or open source software with AEM's X-Series OBDII Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge (PN 30-0334). the ability to view AFR through the factory CAN-bus stream that is output by the factory ECU, and deliver the most accurate, safe and powerful tune. The X-Series Wideband AFR OBDII Gauge includes an OBDII pass-through connector and Bosch 4.9LSU sensor that can be free-air calibrated or used with the factory resistor calibration. Additional wiring for a 0-5v or RS232 Serial output can be added by the user for outputting to a data logger. This OBDII pass-through capability replaces the traditional AEMnet stream available in the 30-0300 X-Series Wideband AFR Gauge Controller.OBDII CAN-bus OUTPUT The OBDII output simulates an auxiliary ECU signal when plugged into a vehicle's OBD port, which requires a unique address from the other ECUs already on a vehicle's network. AEM's default OBDII CAN address will work with most popular vehicles and adjustments should not be necessary. However, AEM has provided OBDII address programmability through the buttons on the gauge face if a different address other than the default address is required, allowing users to program ECU #, Parameter Identification (PID), Message Identifier, and Bit Rate.PATENTED X- DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY - It's The FastestX-Series Widebands are the fastest responding wideband air / fuel ratio controllers in independent testing against 17 other wideband UEGO air / fuel controllers. * The controller's high speed, patented, X-Digital technology (Patent 9,575,030) ensures no loss of signal fidelity and full transient response, making it able to identify the slightest fluctuations in AFR and output them in full value.WHY RESPONSE TIME MATTERSFaster response time improves wideband feedback control, and can provide a safer, more powerful and accurate tune. AEM's Wideband Controllers with X-Digital technology reduce deadtime and can improve the performance of your vehicle through more accurate AFR tuning.FACTORY CALIBRATION RESISTOR OR FREE-AIR CAL, IT'S YOUR CHOICE! X-Series Wideband Gauges and the X-Series Inline Controller support the popular Bosch 4.9LSU sensor, and can utilize both the factory calibration resistor and free-air calibration methods. This allows users to take advantage of the precise factory resistor calibration when a sensor is new but then allows for free-air calibrations if the user desires when the sensor ages. ** It's the perfect marriage of simplicity and accuracy! WHAT IS A WIDEBAND UEGO AIR / FUEL CONTROLLER? AEM's Wideband UEGO (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen, pronounced "You-Way-Go") Controllers are powerful, cost effective tuning tools that allow users to accurately monitor the Air / Fuel Ratio (AFR) of their engine.WHY USE A WIDEBAND AIR / FUEL CONTROLLER? Accurate AFR data is critical when tuning an engine. Running rich (very low air / fuel ratio, excessive fuel) can cause a loss in power, while running too lean (very high air / fuel ratio, not enough fuel) may result in serious engine damage. Using a wideband air / fuel controller during the tuning process allows you to monitor AFR and adjust tuning parameters to optimize them for maximum power and efficiency. AEM has a comprehensive line of highly accurate, reliable wideband air / fuel controllers that can help ensure your vehicle is optimally tuned.CAN I CHANGE THE AEM UEGO SENSOR'S CONNECTOR? No. There is a laser-etched, calibrated resistor in the sensor's connector body. This resistor is specifically created for the exact sensor that it is attached to. Modifying this will invalidate the sensor's output. Universal AEM Electronics fuel pressure regulator. Operating range from 1.5-10 bar. Input: AN6, 1/8 "NPT per clock. Output: AN8 Adapter kit for installing the regulator in cars: 1994-2001 Acura Integra GSR 1.8L 1990-1993 Honda Accord DX, LX, SE, EX 2.2L 4 Cylinder 1992-1995 Honda Civic DX, LX 1.5L 1992-1995 Honda Civic EX, Si 1.6L VTEC 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si 1.6L VTEC 1992-1995 Honda del Sol Si 1.6L SOHC VTEC 1994-1997 Honda del Sol VTEC 1.6L DOHC VTEC 1992-1995 Honda del Sol S 1.5L 1992-1996 Honda Prelude F22 1988-1991 Honda Prelude Si 2.1L
