The BOV Kompact Plumb Back valve transfers all excess pressure back to the intake. Ideal for people looking for performance, without producing additional venting air noise through the valve. Standard valves made of plastic, as opposed to the high-strength machined aluminum Kompact construction. In standard valves, plastic becomes brittle with age and can crack, causing severe blow-bys. This prevents the turbo from reaching its full capacity, depriving you of performance. With an anodized aluminum body and a lightweight alloy piston, the Kompact offers extreme durability, excellent response and excellent pressure-holding capability in a small package. The VR03 kit for the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG includes a boost adapter that allows the valve to respond immediately, providing a higher level of control compared to electronically controlled valves. This is possible because the valve has access to the manifold pressure sensor - without any method such as drilling into the intake manifold. The adapter offers two pressure ports for the use of, for example, an additional pressure gauge.
