Aileron / Spoiler for the car model given in the name. The elements are made of professional, extremely light and durable ABS material. Unlike laminate, ABS is resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Very easy to assemble and paint. The elements are ready for painting .The differences between fiberglass and ABS: COST: If you want to save some money, remember that ABS plastic parts are 20% to 40% cheaper than fiberglass parts. (Fiberglass parts are more expensive due to the cost of the material base and the extra work involved in building them.) SERVICE LIFE: The service life of any part is difficult to determine due to many factors such as how the part is installed, the environment in which it is installed. used, storage, etc A fiberglass part will last longer in most situations ABS plastic parts, if properly fitted, not over-tensioned and painted with professional paints, will last longer than the average car owner will own. DURABILITY: Again, fiberglass is slightly more durable than ABS plastic. But how durable is this part? If the ABS plastic is properly installed and painted, its durability can be extended and can be worth extra savings for the car owner. DAMAGE PROCESSING: If the product were made of stronger fiberglass, the damage could result in a more costly and timely repair. ABS is more prone to cracking and will not transfer to the more expensive sheet metal. ARE THEY REPAIRABLE ?: Both ABS and fiberglass are repairable. A fiberglass part may withstand a little more damage and still be considered 'repairable', but reconsider the cost. Will it be more expensive to repair a fiberglass part than to replace it with a NEW, cheaper ABS plastic component? INSTALLATION: There is no difference in time and installation technique between the two materials. PAINTING: Both ABS plastic and fiberglass parts require painting for "finish" and UV stabilization. The service life of ABS parts is greatly extended by fitting, sanding and professionally priming and painting parts. RECOMMENDATIONS: For service life: USE ABS PLASTICS To extend service life: USE GLASS FIBER For standard durability: USE ABS PLASTICS Under extreme conditions: USE GLASS FIBER Extreme heat or cold: USE CARBON GLASS GLASS Mercedes E W207 2D Carbon
